  • Ignore a HTML value in beyond compare text

Im doing a text compare between 2 .txt files and i want to ignore comparison for the value ?qs=string(which is underlined) .Any string that is before or after should be compared. Can someone help me how to do that ?

Also the underlined text is a dynamic content which always varies .

    <a href="http://test.com/?qs=7973b0588b1d0dbbdf7a0060bdbfe58a8898f03c533989128c e2ff369bb4f38444877142596b079c1b97dafe243aa47e5f1f e5dfba83e5dfebb21454b21bcc15f0b7c691d3a48d2a588cab eec592225a" style="color:#007395; text-decoration:underline;"

    Hello,

Sounds like you want to define a Basic grammar element that matches on:
    \?qs=\w+
    with Regular Expression enabled

With have a KB article and video helping define that, here:

        Hello,

The quickest would be to update the default Session Settings so it is unimportant by default. On the Home screen, in the saved Sessions list, expand the New folder and select the Text Compare to edit defaults. Uncheck the item here and save to make it unimportant by default.
