  • HEX compare in batch

Hi , someone told me that this can be done with this software , but i dont see a possibility.
I want to compare 2 folders , with +- 50 files with the same name , to check if those files are updated or not .
So , i need some sort of batch compare.
    Is there a solution ?
    thanks in advance

    Hello,

You can do this from the graphical interface or from the command line with BC Scripting. I would recommend the graphical interface first; if it meets you needs, we can then come up with the script to help automate it.

Load a BC3 Folder Compare session, then your two folders. The default compare is timestamp and size, but you can enable a Binary compare in the Session menu -> Session Settings -> Comparison tab. Leave Timestamp, Size, and Override Quick Tests enabled, then also enable Binary.

Does this compare your files as you expect?
