  • How to see Summary of all changes in all files?

When comparing two directory trees of two source code project versions, I can see the changes in a tree -- the files that were changed. Then I can go to each individual file and look at what was changed in each.

Can I somehow create a summary of all the changes in all the files that I can see on a single scroll-able screen? I am looking for an equivalent to "git diff folder1 folder2".

You can do this as a report. Select the files you want compared in the Folder Compare, then use the "Actions > File Compare Report" command.

      thanks that worked.

I think that out of all the reporting options I like the Side by Side and Unified Diff.

I have a feature request! Unified Diff needs be color-coded for ease of reading!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to our Customer Wishlist. The Unified Diff report does not support color at this time.
