Columns Copy - Is it possible?

    Greetings All,

Is it possible in BC to copy content of the reference column to the target column? I could not figure that out yet (still new to BC). Any suggestion/input will grately be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Hello,

Are you referring to the Data Compare? Screenshots may help illustrate the compare/copy you are trying to perform.

BC3.1.7 supports copying a row from one side to the other under the Edit menu, or select individual cell text in the Line Details, and then pasting into another cell.

Is this a standard feature? Or a pro feature?

This should be in Std. Note, Excel is still a read-only format. The manual edits need to be done in the Details section at the bottom.

This was introduced in BC 3.1.

The question was referring to standard version and I am trying to copy a column from the right window onto the column on the left window. Copying row is working fine.

          Any thought
          thanks

Based on Aaron's initial response, copying an entire column is currently not possible... you could, of course, copy it cell by cell...but that would be tedious.

              Hello mid,

Perhaps you could post a screenshot of the selection and copy you wish to perform?

If you would like to not post it publically on the forum, please email it to [email protected] and include a link back to this forum post. Thanks.
