Recognizing other file types as zip format

Is it possible to configure BeyondCompare 3 to recognize a file type, or individual file, as a zip file? As shipped BeyondCompare recognizes zip files with common file types such as .zip or .jar, but not some odd-ball file type that I happen to use.

Go to the Tools menu -> Options, Folder Views. In Archive Associations scroll down to zip and append to the list of file extensions.
