  • Auto-complete and forward/backward slashes

On Windows, BC3 [nicely!] doesn't discriminate between forward and backward slashes. E.g. I can enter c:/mydoc/foo.txt or c:\mydoc\foo.txt, and BC3 "figures it out". Great.

But auto-complete (of directories/files on my file system) only seems to work if I use backslashes. E.g., if I enter "c:\mydoc\fo" then "o.txt" is added... but if I enter "c:/mydoc/fo", I get no autocomplete.

Bug or feature? If feature, can I request an "autocomplete slash-ambivalence" feature, too?

I don't think we can easily support this. We rely on Windows' built-in autocomplete support and it isn't even trying to do auto-expansion when you press the '/' key.
