  • Where did BCQC.exe go?

We use the command line options in a batch mode. Is there another way of accomplishing the same thing with BC3?
How are the plugin supported now?
We use the following plugin: Html2txt, MSExcel, MSWord, PDFtotext and PdfDoc2txt.

    Thank you,

    Tom Lacascia

There is no need for such plug-ins in BC3. The functionality is built-in for most, if not all, of those filetypes (I haven't tried HTML).

As Michael mentioned, Excel, Word, and PDF are all supported natively right now. You use the HTML-to-Text one you'll need to put the HTML2Txt executable in the Helpers subfolder and create a new file format (similar to BC2's "Rules") and put the command line from BC2's rules set into the file format external conversion tab. If you have trouble with that let us know and we can create a file format you can import.

I'm working on a replacement for BCQC right now and it will be in the next release. We're going to generalize it so it works with interactive comparisons as well.
