Bug:: Character corruption in the bottom two panes

When I open Beyond Compare 3, and restore a previous compare session, here is what I get:

Notice the corruption at the beginning of the "u".

When I click inside the two panes compare either on the top or bottom lines, the corruption goes away.

That's not corruption. That is the text cursor at the beginning of the line. If you click on the line, it changes the position of the cursor.

Yes, that's the text cursor. It looks like the "shadow cursor" is positioned one pixel to the right of where the regular cursor goes, so it covers up more of the character.

Well, it is not the text cursor, at least not the "active" text cursor. The active text cursor is in the left main window.

Here is an image of the cursor in the bottom panes:

Ah, yeah, it is the cursor's shadow!
Would it be possible to move the whole block at the bottom one pixel to the right then so we don't have that "issue"?

The cursor "shadow" overlays the beginning of any character position that it sits at. This is not limited to the first character position. I doubt that there is anything that can easily be done with it.

Yes, we'll probably fix it soon.

Yeah, I see that now. But the standard cursor doesn't overlay any character.

The shadow cursor should behave the same as the normal cursot, but should not blink and should be gray.

Here is a closeup of the normal vs shadow:

By moving the block one pixel to the right I think it might fix it.

The "shaddow" would have to move left one pixel to be like the "standard" cursor.
