    Copy to Specific Subfolder NAME

    Dear friends,

How to copy from template base folder to other volume path .\..\Project\ with using filter or Copy path?!

    Like this:

    Template folders with NTFS Permissions
    --
    C:\Template\
    - Letter
    - Photos
    - Contracts

    Destination | Project folders
    --
    D:\Share\Local\Project\Project-01\
    - Letter
    - Photos
    - Contracts

    D:\Share\Local\Project\Project-02\
    - Letter
    - Photos
    - Contracts

    D:\Share\Local\Project\Project-03\
    - Letter
    - Photos
    - Contracts

    Thanks

    Hello,

You would use name filters. I'd suggest setting it up in the interface first, loading your two base folder paths. You can then Exclude or Include specific items or using masks. The Folder Compare's Session menu -> Session Settings, Name Filters tab and the main interface's Filters toolbar share filters (updating the syntax between them). For script, you can then copy and paste the toolbar Filters box of text and paste it into script (adding quotes around it) to apply that filtering to the script.

Since script has no preview before acting, and BC4 has no Undo, I suggest walking through the interface first to see how things load, align, and are filtered.
