  • Flatten compare / rename same name files

    Hello,

Let's say I have FileABC in sub-folder 1 and FileABC in sub-folder 2. When I flatten this structure and copy to a new folder, I only get one FileABC in the final target folder. How can I force BC to rename the 2nd file as FileABC(2) for example? Thanks!

    Hello,

When flattened and aligned, one file would overwrite the other when using the Copy To Side command, since the alignment copies over the other file in place. In order to copy to another location, you could have to copy to a new folder using the Copy To Folder command.
