  • How to Compare contents of folders but NO SUB-FOLDERS

How can I compare contents of folders but NOT underlying sub-folders?

    Thanks for your help,

BTW I love BeyondCompare and tell all my friends about it, good job!

    Hello,

You can use Name Filters to limit the display. How does this filter work for you?

Umm... not sure how to do this. I opened the Name Filters tab for this session, pasted (and even nsaved this filter) but it still seemed to be comparing everything. When I reopened the ntab it still had *.* in it

      What am I doing wrong?

You can copy and paste that string into the Filters dropdown textbox in the main Folder Compare toolbar. Or you can copy/paste the string without the - and trailing \ into the Exclude Folders:
        .\*\...\*
(which will auto-populate the toolbar with -.\*\...\*\)
