Searching in Folder Compare looks great and is more powerful than filtering the files because of RegEx.

1. Is it possible to get the option to collapse all folders NOT containing the search expression until RegEx make it into Name Filters?

As a workaround I "Select All", "Exclude" and move filenames from "Exlude files" to "Include files" in Session Settings/Name Filters.

2. Is it possible to restrict the search for files OR folders?

Hello Lutz,

I just stumbled across this old forum post. We don't support either of these points, and your workaround is the best method of handling #1. I'll add both items to our Wishlist.
