Find Sides fails to reflect Swap Sides, i.e. with the Find box open, when I click Swap Side, the Find box Sides fails to swap between "( ) Left" and "( ) Right".

Did you mean to post this under Folder Compare? The only Find that I know of in a folder compare is "Find Filename" which does not have "( ) Left" and "( ) Right" options.
In a text compare, swapping sides does not change the focus to the other side...so the "( ) Left" and "( ) Right" options should not change.
Perhaps what you are really asking for is that BC3 would change the side that has focus when the user swaps sides? I agree that this would be a nice touch especially if an active selection on one side would be maintained when the user swaps sides (i.e. rebuild the same text selection on the other side after the sides are swapped).BC v4.0.7 build 19761
