  • Set as base folder

I quite often queue up a folder change on one side of a folder compare (edit the path without taking it) then edit the other side and press enter or click the take button to take both sides at once.

There is one flavor of this that does not work. I've run into the following scenario with both BC2 and Cirrus:

Edit the path on one side to queue the folder change for that side.
Set as Base Folder from the context menu on the other side. When the Set as Base Folder is processed, it throws out the queued path on the other side (reverts it to its prior value instead of taking the new one).

See my screencase for actual workflow where this occurs. Just before the half-way point of the video, you'll see me edit an "Ohio" folder in the left path to "OHCA", then I'll take an "OHCA" folder on the right. The left path reverts to "Ohio". It would be nice if the queued filename were loaded instead of thrown away.

Thanks, Michael. We'll take a look at this.
