  • First Post - Great prog need sripting help

    Hello,
    As said in the title, great program! i have one problem. I cant get my head around this scripting. What i have is two drives that i want to sync both ways (left -> right & right -> left.

    Here is the script im using:

    log normal "c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Synclog.txt"
    load "Z:\" "F:\Company Shared Folders"
    expand all
    select left.newer.files left.orphan.files
    sync left->right
    
    rem load "F:\company shared folders" "Z:\"
    rem expand all
    rem select left.newer.files left.orphan.files
    rem copy left->right
    And here is the error that im recieving:

    Can anyone help!?

    Your "sync" command needs to include the type of sync (update or mirror), and the "select" isn't necessary because the sync does it automatically. Try:
    Code:
    log normal "c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Synclog.txt"
    load "Z:\" "F:\Company Shared Folders"
    expand all
    sync update:left->right
    If you want to go both directions, replace "left->right" with "all"
