  • Unknown Command

    Using the following script, I get the error saying Mirror is an unknown command. I've also tried sync instead of mirror. Both drive letters are valid. TIA.

    # Turn logging on
    log normal "C:\Program Files (x86)\Beyond Compare 2\Synclog.txt"
    # Load the default session and exclude all but certain file types
    load <default>
    # Load the base folders
    load "z:\" "E:\Applications\STAFF\content"
    # Copy different files left to right, delete orphans on right
    mirror: lt->rt

    "mirror" is not a command, but a parameter for the sync command.

    Example:

    sync create-empty mirror:lt->rt

      Dave,

      That worked. Thanks. I get that line from the help file / sample scripts in BC2. I rechecked and sync isn't part of the line. Maybe the programmers can add that

      Thanks again.

        Thanks. That is a typo in that example. It should use the sync command (as found under the Reference section).
