compare timestamp, size, but NOT filename

Is there a way I can compare files side by side by timestamp and/or size while ignoring the file name? I have loads of duplicate photos that I need to go through but some have been renamed.

Any advice?

Hello,

BC3 does not have the ability to find duplicate files by timestamp/size at this time. Beyond Compare 3 will align files by folder structure and file name (optionally ignoring folder structure) before running a comparison on the aligned files. Adding this functionality is on our Customer Wishlist.

In the meantime, I would suggest searching Google or Download.com for a "Duplicate File Finder" for a specialized product. Many have reviews and trials available for testing.

i know we're in a BC2 forum but to keep it in the same place... bump to add another vote for this feature.

it would be nice when comparing directories of pictures - which is what brought me here looking for info on this feature, aamof.
