Any chance of adding the ability to visually diff images in a future release? I'd like to be able to visually compare BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG files as a minimum. Ideally, the comparison interface will show a single image where identical pixels will be shown in black, and different pixels will be show in another color, possibly with intensity levels to indicate how different they are.
The algorithm could be really simplistic. Just convert each image to a 32 bit bitmap, then find the mathematical difference between each pixel value and display that difference as a new pixel in the output "diff" image.
