  • Printing Unicode files with line numbers

I am a big fan of the software for the file and directory comparison capability. But now I have a slightly tangential use. I need to print unicode source code files (Japanese comments in this case) with the line numbers and nice headers/footers. The only file print with line numbers in BC appears to be the side-by-side comparison. But I have no other file to compare and I need the full page width to minimize the wrap-around of lines. Is a single file print with line numbers possible with BC? MS Word or OpenOffice can do this but not without a lot of setup per file. Would be nice to simply load and print like BC can almost allow me to do now.

Side-by-side is the only report format that will include line numbers.

Printing a single file like you describe is on our wish list, but isn't possible in the current version of Beyond Compare.
