  • Unimportant Text ... ignoring '\t leading?

Under the Importance tab of a file comparison rule, I've checked ignore Leading whitespace. I have several lines in an ASP file that have been tabbed and then commented out... leading to a single quote followed by a tab character. Several text editors replace the tab character with x number of spaces. How do I ignore these differences as well?

    Thanks for the help.

Doh... this works - ^\'\s*... nevermind.

      This would be better -

      ^\s*\'\s*

Also, you could do the same thing for Javascript comments -

      ^\s*//\s*

There is one bug... if I comment out a line and change the tabs to spaces then it ignores it completely... hmmm...
