Problem saving BC differences to file on network

Hi,

Trying to save BC differences to a text file on a server on the network and 9 out of 10 time is works instantly but the other time it takes 2 minutes or more.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Is this a bug in BC2.2.3 and if so is there a fix?

This isn't a bug that I've heard of before.

The first thing to do is update to our current release version 2.4.3. All BC 2 releases use the same license key, so to update, download and install the new version over the top of your old version.

If you still have the issue after updating, please let me know.

Thanks for replying.

We have upgraded to the new version BC 2.4.3 and the problem still occurs.

We have tested our network by saving files to the same area without using BC and there is no problem. Everyone who has BC installed is experiencing the problem of saving files to the network from BC.

Do you have any other suggestions we can try?

Is the server on a local network?

What operating system is the server running?

In case the slowdown is due to a virus scan, what security software do you use?
