"Next Difference not found" on mismatched files

Hi, I am comparing files on Win2k to a Linux webserver.
Every file is showing as mismatched, even though most are same. If I open the file viewer and go to next difference I get the "next difference not found" and on exiting the file viewer the Colour and Icon both change to matched.

Using: Binary compare, Compare timestamps and versions are off, Ignore timezone differences on, no other settings.
BC:2.4.3

I must be doing something wrong ... any ideas?

Ok, sorted ... Should have been rules-based comparison not binary!
