How to ignore complete lines?

Is it possible to ignore complete lines? For instance, if I am comparing a report that has report header lines (which may have changed - e.g. they show different program versions), how can I tell the program to ignore these lines. The report header option does not work for me, as sometimes the header is 4 lines other times 6. If I set it to 6 I miss 1 line of data when the header is 4.
The header lines all start the same, but can have differences after that.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you could use the Delimited or Regular Expression option in your file comparison rules to define those lines as unimportant. Does that help?
