Scripting is the recommended way to generate a report from the command line.

If you use the /silent switch when calling a script, no window will be displayed when the script is run. Full details on scripting and command line switches are in the BC2 help file.

An older, deprecated method for generating reports from the command line exists. It is a holdover from BC1.

An example file differences report using the deprecated method:

    bc2.exe /out=201a:report.txt file1.txt file2.txt

The options for /out are listed in the help file.

creating a report from the command line

I need to create a report from the command line. I need not to have the BC2 gui to popup. I need to specify the output file. Looking through the forum I have seen alot about scripts and I would liek to stay away from them for now.
Working...
