I apologize, I forgot the over/under report layout displays blocks of differences over/under. We'll work on an interleaved layout that displays each line over/under for a future version of BC.

But I still can not achieve the effect:

    line 1 from file A
    line 1 from file B
    line 2 from file A
    line 2 from file B
    line 3 from file A
    line 3 from file B
    ......

But what I get is as follows:
    line 1 from file A
    line 2 from file A
    line 3 from file A
    ...
    ===================
    line 1 from file B
    line 2 from file B
    line 3 from file B
    ......
Still I cannot compare them easily.

Could you implement the effect I want? Thanks a million!

There isn't a way to copy directly to the clipboard using this format, but if you do a File|File Differences Report you can generate an over/under report to a printer, text file, or HTML file.

How is this an improvement over seeing the differences side-by-side in the GUI?

I recommend that BC will be better if it supports the following way of export:

    line 1 from file A
    line 1 from file B
    line 2 from file A
    line 2 from file B
    line 3 from file A
    line 3 from file B
    ......
    and thus recursively.

In doing so, users can have a quicker view of the comparison of two files compared.

    Thanks a lot!
