    Symlink Issue

    Hi,

I switched servers and now can't use BC anymore which is a real bummer once you;re used to it. It's too good to not use.

The problem is that it sees my symlinks as files instead of links/virtual folder type of idea. So when I FTP in, it goes to my home folder where I have set up symlinks to all the sites I run. Double clicking the symlink in Filezilla brings me to the designated folder. Double clicking the symlink in BC make it try and open it as if it was a file.

I check the FAQ, KB and searched the forums to no avail.

I can of course make a new User and have the website folders as it's home but I'd rather use my own FTP account.

Any tricks you can teach me to get this going?

    Thanks!

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

Have you tried changing your FTP link resolution settings? Try cycling between Fast, Simple, and Complete in the FTP section of Tools|Options.
