open with and ftp not working

I am using build 2.3.1


I have set up an ftp connection (to localhost, and I use tunnelier for sftp). I have 3 open with programs setup, including notepad. None of my 3 apps show
up in the open with menu. If I am comparing local, then these show up. Is there a fix or is this a bug?

Hi Eric!

I think it's a design leak or simply not yet implemented. BC would have to download the file, save it at %temp% or whatever and then call the desired program with the file as parameter.
I don't know why it isn't implemented yet, doesn't look complicated ?

Open With only works with local or network drives, but not FTP sites. Supporting the Open With command on FTP sites is on our todo list for a future release of BC.
