  • Script report different from online report - shifting some lines to column 1

I am using a script to compare folders:
    log none
    criteria rules-based
    filter "*.macsrc;-archive"
    load "%1" "%2"
    expand all
    select all.diff
    file-report layout:side-by-side &
    options:display-context &
    output-to:C:\$JUNK\filediffs.html &
    output-options:html-color

In the browser view of the report, some lines are shifted to the first column. In the attached snippet, the line starting with ?bls... is in column 1 but in the source view and in a Beyond Compare client view (not scripted), the ?bls... is in column 2. BC is not reporting a difference due to this shifting but it visually is not correct.

I could not locate a scripting parameter that might influence this. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hello Joe,

Could you include full screen screenshots of the main interface and both sides of the side-by-side report? This would help show how the report is different from the interface. If you want, you can post here, or email us at support@scootersoftware.com along with a link back to this forum thread.

If you can, you could also include sample files and your BCSupport.zip (Help menu -> Support; Export) in the email.
