    "Send to" from windows programs

I have BC2 set up so it appears on the "send to" menu right click menu item.
It works fine, but I'd like to "send to" a second file for the other compare pane.
Is there a way to do that?

Instead of using send to, BC installs a shell extension that you should be able to use.

When you right click on a file or folder there should be an option:
"Select Left Side to Compare" and then right click on the other file or folder you want to compare to and select Compare to "Filename"

No - on the programs right click menu there is nothing that applies other than "Send to".

      New
      Select
      Cut
      Copy
      Open
      Open with
      Delete
      Rename
      Send to
      Symlinks
      Check out
      History
      Version tree
      etc.

This is on Clear Case UCM.

      Thanks,
      Mike

Are you running the latest version of BC (2.1.2)? Try reinstalling the latest version and make sure the install shell extension option is checked. Also make sure to reboot after installing so the shell extension will show up.

The shell extension is the best way to do this. If you absolutely can't get the shell extension to work, you can add BC to the windows Send To menu by copying a shortcut to BC into your "C:\Documents and Settings\username\SendTo"
directory and selecting 2 files or folders using Ctrl-Click and then doing a send to BC.

You can use drag and drop to load a file on the right side after the fact. Currently there isn't any way to tell an existing instance to load a new file from the command line though.
