Picture Compare - remember view settings

Will Picture Compare eventually remember my view settings?

What do you want the Picture Compare to remember that it isn't? The only setting I'm aware of that isn't remembered is the "Difference Offset".

Please describe scenario(s) where you'd find remembering the "Difference Offset" useful.

Simply put, the Tolerance, Range, and Binary difference are something I never use. So the space taken up on the screen to display that information is wasted. All I care to see is a visual representation of each image, one on the left, and the other on the right.

But mostly, BC2 did remember, so you spoiled me

To have it remember that setting use the Session->Session Settings menu item, and on the "Comparison" tab change the "Difference" to "None", then change the combobox at the bottom of the dialog to "Update session defaults".

Thank you! I missed that....even though this is an improvement over Set Default on the session menu, I still overlooked it
