need simple script to compare 2 files

i need a script which will use rules to determine if 2 files are equal when unimportant differences are ignored

i found the following example in the forums which might be what i need, but i get a "incorrect parameters" error

file-report layout:side-by-side option:display-context output-to:"c:\temp\file_compare.txt" "c:\temp\left_file_sorted.csv" "c:\temp\right_file_sorted.csv"

any help would be much appreciated

Change option to options and it should work.
