    Script in foreground?

    Hi

I'm trying to use Beyond Compare scripting as a part of a Powershell script, but can't because Beyond Compare starts in the background. Is there any way to run Beyond Compare in the foreground or to run Powershell from the Beyond Compare script?

Using BComp.com seems to be the answer, but neither using /closescript or using the Close when finished setting in Tools > Options > Tweaks > Scripts seems to cause the window to close when the script completes.

Seems to be closing now. Perhaps it wasn't working because I hadn't closed all Beyond Compare windows.

Thanks for the follow up. And yes, if you hadn't closed all instances of open BCompare windows/processes, it can be difficult to determine which is called and used during an automated script call. A quick restart of the application will make sure the settings are applied.
