compare to ftp

INITIAL PROBLEM SOLVED - now just a suggestion

I'm sure i'm missing something but.....

Generally i use BC for comparisons between my local server and live servers.
There seems though to be no easy way to start this ?
I want basically a Folder Compare but one local(mapped drive) and one ftp
So i start a new session "Folder Compare" and then dont know how to change the right folder to a ftp site.
- it use to be there as a choice, but now i just have
Browse File System
or

Even the "Quick Connect" -> FTP Profile seems to have no space for a server name ?
- WRONG just found the host part (smaller than the protocol field)
- My mistake, but from a usability point of view maybe drop the host part down a line ?


Is it possible to add there a short cut - Connect to FTP
Or even have Create New Session - Connect to FTP

Thanks for the follow-up edit. Yes, Quick Connect does allow ftp connections. If you have a profile pre-defined you can use that, too. Or from the Browse dialog you can click the '+' to create a new Profile (FTP) then use it.

Or in the main view you can type directly into the path with ftp://user@ipaddress/
