I know, it has been brought up in the past, but the threads I traced are a bit older, so I would like to bring it up again as BC4 is still under development.

Delete files from Folder Compare by overwriting them with random data possible? (29-feb-2012)

1. If files are deleted to the recycle bin, a 3rd party tool can take care of wiping (e.g. once a day at startup)
2. Likely deleting to the recycle bin is slower than bypassing the recycle bin. The last option requires lengthy wipe free space afterwards
Alternatively: what about deleting to a user defined folder? (instead of the recycle.bin).
- keeping folders structure similar to the recycle.bin
- adding date-time of deleting (avoid clashing duplicates)
This may be faster than the recycle.bin. Such a folder can be wiped/securely deleted afterwards (or be added to a wipetask of a 3rd party tool to be wiped at pc boot, once a day)
