Can't open *.iso and *.rpm via 7-zip's DLL

    Hi Scooter-Team,

thanks for the new beta-build 17628!

    From the changelog:

"Added read-only support for all of the archive formats that 7-zip's DLL provides."

I tried that on my Windows 7 PC with 4 different *.iso files and bcompare-3.3.8.16340.i386.rpm, but no real success.

The Folder Compare session is opened but no files or folders are displayed, and no error message either.
    What's wrong?

PS: 7-Zip 9.20 is installed as a separate application, too. It can open the isos and rpms without problem.

    Bye
    Christoph

Thanks for the report. We'll look into why those aren't working.

I haven't handled duplicate file extensions, so .iso is associated with both "ISO archive" and "UDF archive". Try removing it from the "UDF archive" one and it should start working. I'll see about autodetecting the type in that case. .img has the same issue, but is also shared with FAT and NTFS images.

RPMs don't store filenames (the embedded .cpio archive has them), so I'll need to tweak the code a bit to handle that case.
