When initiating a Folder Compare, I often drag folders to the left and right path fields at the top of an existing Folder Compare session window. This does not work well with folders that have names containing unusual (but valid) characters.
For example, when dragging a folder named "• REVIEW" to one of the path fields, instead of populating the field with "/Volumes/dataSHARE/Downloads/• REVIEW", it instead immediately spawns a File Compare session with the left file pointing to "/Volumes/dataSHARE/Downloads/‚Ä¢ REVIEW".
This also happens when editing a Saved Session on the Home panel. Dragging such a folder to the "Left folder" or "Right folder" fields of a selected Save Session spawns the File Compare.
I would like to mention that BC3 (under Windows) handles these same actions as you would expect. A File Compare session is not started, and the fields are set to the correct path.
