BC is my Swiss Army Knife. The universal tool I you have to work with loads of files. Once a colleague came to me with many files with wrong names. Since I do not have a special file rename tool I said to him "Let's try BC. This tool can do nearly everything." - I opened BC, discovered the regex rename option and just renamed the files. That is just one of the many positive experiences with BC.
