1.Choose Tools | Profiles (Beyond Compare | Profiles on macOS) to open the Profiles dialog.
2.Select a profile on the left pane.
3.Click the Proxy page.
4.Select Use proxy if connections should use FTP Proxy protocol. If you are not on a Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN), clear this checkbox.
5.Choose a setting from the Proxy type dropdown to specify the type of firewall.
6.Use the Host, Port, Username, and Password controls to specify login parameters for your firewall / proxy.
