One of the great things is the ability to compare contents of ZIP files.
But is seems we cannot do this on new ZIP files, ie those compressed with the newer Winzip compression file format . ![]() I hope this will be rectified? |

Improving zip (and other archive) file support is on our todo list. BC 3.0.0 doesn't support zip64, aes encryption, and some other newer archive formats.
We did recently add support for 7-zip and rar archive files.

Don't you use ZIP64 from 7-zip, since 7-zip support them? Are you using 7-zip only for .7z and nothing else?

We only use 7-zip for .7z support. We're looking into a different approach for zip support.
