Default Send select lines to external program in file comp

How I send a select line in file compare to external program (one or more line selecteds)

A create one entry in Open with, but have only two options, file name and line number.

I need selected lines. With line number i could read a file to line number, but its to smaller if I need more then one lines in diferents locations of file.

At now, my external file, open and read files to line number.. ists not good !!!

Hello Claudio,

It isn't possible to pass the line numbers of selected lines to an external program with the Open With command. I'll add this to our wish list for our developers to consider in a future version of Beyond Compare.

Claudio,

Thank you for explaining your request. Does the Edit|Copy command not work for you to send selected lines to the clipboard?
