Default BC2 and BC3
Say I have a python script file thats written for BC2, do I have to modify the code for it to be compatible for BC3?
any answer or sources i could look up will be great

Are you running a Beyond Compare script? Version 3 adds new scripting commands, but is backwards compatible with scripts written for version 2.
