As an admin I hate having to "babysit" a data copy job. It would be great if we could get emails telling us the status of the copy job at defined set intervals. ie 15 minutes, alerts to a copy error, time estimate and amount of data remaining.
That way on days like today I could be out doing my thing while still monitoring my work. or even more crazy how about a smartphone applications / front end that you could monitor your large sync job with? Thanks Scott |

Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion. While we don't currently support emailing from the application, you can set a log file to be auto-saved in the GUI (Tools -> Options, Folder View, Log in BC3) or in Script (Log command). You could then use another application to parse or browse to this log.txt to review it.
