    unimportant differences in folder compare

Is there a way to show "unimportant" differences in folder compare mode without opening the file first?
After I run my folder compare, "compare contents" removes the identicals files from view, all files that only have "unimportant" differences still show as "different". After opening the file in the text viewer, the files shows the "unimportant differences" squiggly in the folder view.
I would like to see the same result without opening the file first.

    Hello,

You can run a Rules-based comparison (either on a selection, or from the Session menu -> Session Settings, Comparison tab, with override quick test results Enabled). Then make sure the "ignore unimportant differences" toggle is disabled/off in the Toolbar or View menu. Files with only unimportant differences will show up as differences, but the center column will be a squiggly equal sign instead of equal or not equal. Enabling "ignore unimportant differences" will treat these items as if they were equal.
