I have spent 2 years testing literally hundreds of products in order to show differences between versions of chm files. Although I cannot perform an actual compare from chm to chm, I can zip my source files at various intervals, and then compare. I am thrilled to see the folder differences, and also have the ability to drill down to the file level.

Your product is the GREATEST!!! You get my vote for "Software of the Year", "Most Valuable Product", etc.

Since I just downloaded the trial version last night, you won't see me as a registered user yet, but you will.

The only request I have is a plug-in for chm comparisons.

Kudos!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to the wishlist.

Perhaps you can post the wishlist so we can see what is already there.

Who knows? You might even get some help building them <s>.

We prefer not to announce features until they are ready, so we won't make the wishlist public. Thank you for the suggestion.

I want to second the request for the ability to directly compare .chm files. It's really useful to be able to quickly highlight the differences in two product releases from the documentation. The .chm files are of course often under the control of a third party and the source files may not be available, so it would be very useful to be able to do a .chm comparison.

CHM files are actually archives. You can "decompile" them to source files using Microsoft's "HTML Help Workshop".
