In the attached screenshot, _CLAMP_0 is not highlighted as the difference within the line. Is there an option I need to enable in order to fix this issue? This behavior is only observed in linux on my side.

Hello,
Is _CLAMP_0 currently matching as an unimportant grammar? Click the cursor into the middle of CLAMP (between the C and L, for example). The currently detected grammar element will appear in the bottom status bar of each pane. You can then check the Session Settings -> Importance tab to see if that grammar element is unchecked/unimportant.
You can also toggle off/disable Ignore Unimportant Differences in the toolbar to see if it shows up as Blue text (Unimportant Text). This would also indicate that it is currently matching a definition of unimportance.
If you are still having any trouble, would it be possible to email us at support@scootersoftware.com :
1) Your BCSupport.zip from the Help menu -> Support; Export
2) A pair of sample files that exhibit the issue (can be a snippet as long as it reproduces on your system).
3) A full screen screenshot may also be useful.
