Hi,

I recently updated my Standard Linux BC software to version 3.3.3.

Previously in my Debian GNOME Nautilus file browser, I used to be able to right mouse click on folders or files in the browser and in the menu that appeared, there were links to BC script comparison items such as:

Select for Compare
Compare to Selected

or words to that effect.

These links are now missing from the right mouse click menu.

I see that there is an Explorer Integration option in the Tools/Options/StartUp menu, but that is for Windows Explorer only I think.

How do I get back the BC comparison links on the right mouse click menu in my file browser?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Phillip

Hello Phillip,

One of BC3.3's updates was full shell extension support for Linux. Have you tried enabling the option in the Tools menu -> Options dialog, Startup section, and then restarting your machine (or log off/log on) to apply it?

Some specific versions of Linux combined with File Browsers have issues. If you are still not seeing it appear, which version of each are you using?

Thanks Aaron,

Restarting my machine, which I don't do often for other reasons, has restored the BC shell extensions to Nautilus.

Cheers,

Phillip
