Compare the branch on VSS

I wanted to compare one of the branches on the VSS with a folder that has the similiar content on my local machine. All that I wanted to check is whether I have latest on the files or not . I needed a headsup with this as I was not even getting a way to start.

Hello Shravan,

If you have BC3 Pro's Source Control Integration setup, you can check the history or see a diff on a file by file basis by right-clicking the file and selecting the Source Control Integration options from the right click context menu. If they are not present, double check the Tools menu -> Source Control Integration to see if it is setup.

For a full folder compare, you will need to check out/download a copy of the branch locally, and then compare that temp location to your local folder. You can run a rules-based comparison to see if there are any text differences between the two folders.
