Large files

I recently downloaded Beyond Compare, and it works great. I started to script some synchronisations, and one always fails. It is a synchronisation of large files ( 3 Gb ) from an ftp location to a local disk. Is there a known size limit ? :(

Yes, our FTP support currently only works on files 2GB and smaller.

My computer guy set this up for me now I lost the settings. Can you tell me how to set up sync between the lap top and pc? The sync options are no longer highlighted.

Unfortunately, probably not. It's a limitation in the FTP library we're using, so we won't be able to handle it in BC until it's fixed there.

The quickest way to set up a sync is to work through the "Compare Wizard". It's available from the Open dialog, or from the folder viewer through the Session|New menu item.

Other than that I can't give more specific help without more information on what kind of sync you were doing before.
