Dear BC,

First I would like to say that BC is one of the most useful utilities that I have used - no doubt. Congratulations on making such a wonderful product!

I would like to check if there are any plans on adding 3-way merging/diff'ing into BC? As a programmer, this functionality would greatly help in change management. For example, we currently have a repository for a set of checked-in (and most up-to-date ) code, a working baseline, and a local set of files. It would be nice to be able to see if there are differences between the latest released code, the baseline code, and the local changes that I have made to edit/merge them together.

Regards,

- David

Hi David,

Thanks for the compliment. :)

3-way comparisons are on the wishlist.

This is one of my mega wishes too. I develop and administer PeopleSoft systems and we have several 'environments', each on different Windows and UNIX servers to manually keep in sync. e.g. Demo, Development (x3), User_Test, Live and Disaster_Recovery.

If you can do n-way comparisons I would be a happy man. I'll take the headache!
