xml reports aren't xml

I can't seem to find a way to get layout:xml working correctly. When I try generating an xml report via script, the report isn't xml (instead it is identical to the side-by-side report).

I can successfully save an xml report from the UI, but I need to do this in script. I'm running v2.1.2 (build 216). Please help.

I'm getting the exact same thing. When I want to create an xml folder report, the file generated is identical to one I created using the side-by-side format and its not xml. I'm running v2.1.2(build 216) as well.

Sorry about that guys. There was a typo in the script processing, so 216 doesn't handle folder comparison XML reports correctly. This will be fixed in the next release, but if you need something earlier email support@scootersoftware.com.
